LaDore For You: Understanding Acne
You don’t have to suffer at the hand of acne.
Many girls and women falsely believe that because they are genetically prone to acne, or because they are in their teenage years, that there is no way to avoid it. But there is more to acne than most think. Once you learn how acne works, you can take the necessary steps to overcome it for good.
EVERYONE CAN OVERCOME ACNE
Even those whom are genetically predisposed.
If you struggle with acne, you’ve probably tried every over-the-counter, do it yourself, product out there. You’ve washed your face morning, noon, and night, moisturized, medicated, and stood on your head. Maybe not stood on your head, but if it would help, you would probably try it. Your acne just seems to get worse. But why?
In my childhood and my professional career in Russia, I saw very few girls and women with acne. Acne was almost non-existent. When I began my skincare practice in America, I was surprised to find that acne was the most common and challenging concern for girls and women.
I often hear, "My doctor told me that my acne is hormonal. What can I do about it?" Or, "My acne is genetic. There is nothing I can do."
It’s important to realize that even though acne manifests through your skin, it’s not a skin issue. Instead, your body has lost its inner balance. If we pinpoint what precisely in our lifestyle is causing this phenomenon, we can learn how to quickly restore the balance and get rid of acne once and for all.
The Acne Triad
Acne, in order to manifest, needs three main factors to be present: a genetic predisposition for acne, a hormonal imbalance, and a certain level of toxic buildup in your body and skin cells. Although you can’t control your genetics or your hormonal fluctuations, you CAN take steps to help reduce and prevent the toxic buildup. And if you can get that factor under control, acne cannot thrive.
In my book Acne-Free Guaranteed, I cover all of this in detail and show you how to get rid of your acne once and for all! It is FREE to download digitally, or you can purchase a paperback version of the guide on Amazon. I have included a section with links further down the page.
The 10 Commandments of Clear, Acne-Free Skin
An Abbreviated Guide: See Acne-Free guide below for full details.
WASH YOUR FACE DAILY
Use an appropriate cleanser in the evenings and warm water in the morning.
Clean items that touch your face, such as razors and phones, with alcohol often.
MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE
Dehydration triggers the skin’s defense mechanism - causing over-production of oil. Using a high-quality moisturizer helps to prevent this.
GO EASY ON THE MAKEUP
Foundation clogs the pores, suffocates and dehydrates the skin, and creates a perfect environment for bacteria.
If you can’t live without your foundation, make sure you wash it off at night.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
The skin is the last organ in the body to recieve hydration, This means when you don’t get enough H2O, your skin suffers.
Carry water with you to make sure you always have enough.
ELIMINATE TOXIC FOODS
Eating the wrong foods will create toxic buildup, induce excessive hormal flucuations and cause imbalance.
BALANCE YOUR DIET
Food provides the energy of life. Balance your diet to include the right foods that will feed your skin and body what it needs.
Check out the Ladore Acne-Free guide below to learn what the right foods are and how to incorporate them into your diet to create balance.
OPTIMIZE YOUR DIGESTION.
Constipation can cause more than acne. overcoming it is a crucial part of healthy skin.
- Increase raw foods and healthy carbs.
- Minimize acidic foods; increase alkaline foods consumption.
- Cultivate healthy bacteria and establish a candida-free environment.

GET MORE SLEEP & REDUCE STRESS
The body makes most of its repairs while it is asleep. Sleep deprevation is detrimental to the health of your skin.
Stress will also manifest itself through your skin. Control stress using relaxation techniques and maintain a healthy sleep routine.
DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE
Avoid touching your face with your hands. It’s easy to transfer bacteria.
Also avoid squeezing pimples. It can push bacteria further into your skin and cause damage to the skin.
SUPPLEMENT YOUR DIET
Take Probiotics Daily. Consider taking Zinc and make sure to get your daily supply of omega 3’s, 6’s and 9’s.
